A Printmaker's Evening: Preview of Print Age: The Art of Printmaking in the Age of AI Reproduction

Dhoomimal Gallery opened its doors for its first preview of 2026: the landmark exhibition bringing together the works of over 100 printmakers. Print Age: The Art of Printmaking in the Age of AI Reproduction, curated by JohnyML, brought together the art fraternity for a lively evening celebrating the craft of printmaking and the intricate processes behind it.
The evening began with Sunaina Jain felicitating Anupam Sud, Ina Puri, and JohnyML, followed by a welcome note from Uday Jain, Director of Dhoomimal Gallery. He expressed his gratitude to the curator, the contributing artists, and the collectors whose participation made the exhibition a success. JohnyML also shared his appreciation for the collective effort required to bring the show to fruition. Ina Puri and Anupam Sud addressed the gathering, followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony marking the exhibition's official commencement. Several senior artists, curators, critics, and practitioners from various disciplines contributed to a preview that was a bustling space of creativity, intellect, and passion.
